**UPDATE**

Shippensburg Police were notified that on Sunday August 16, 2026, there will be a power outage in the Borough of Shippensburg from North/South Washington Street at East King Street stretching East to Starbucks in the Shippensburg Shopping Center between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm due to construction at the future Wawa.

**This will only affect King Street to the Walnut Bottom Road, Walnut Bottom Road to Starbucks. No side streets should be affected.**
