On 5/20/2024 at approx. 10:00hrs Newville Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at the fuel pumps at 2 Rich Street Newville, PA. Upon arrival to the area a red Ford Fusion was observed parked directly in front of the gas pumps. Lucas Boyd (26) of Newville, PA was discovered sleeping in the driver's seat of the vehicle. Upon investigation, Boyd was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Lab results were recently received and Boyd is charged with 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 1 count of Possession of a controlled Schedule II drug. Both charges are misdemeanors and they were filed at MDJ 09-3-02.
