Carlisle Police are currently on the scene of a crash involving a train and tractor-trailer in the area of the 400 block of N Bedford St. At this time, no injuries have been reported. Due to this crash, the following areas are affected

• 400 Block of N Bedford St
• 400 Block of N East St
• 400 Block of N Hanover St which includes the intersection with Spring Road

Traffic will be detoured around these areas for an extended period of time. An update will be published once the streets are re-opened.

N Hanover St has reopened. The train will depart shortly, leaving only the 400 block of N Bedford St closed. There is a minor fluid spill from the truck, which Carlisle Fire and Rescue have cleaned up. No hazardous materials were on the train, and there is no concern for public safety.
