On Wednesday, November 11th at approximately 5:00pm emergency services along with UGI Utilities responded to the 100 block of Courtyard Drive for the odor of gas. Once on scene, a gas leak was detected and nearby residences were evacuated as a precautionary measure. No more homes are being evacuated. At this this time, already evacuated residents are still not permitted into their homes until the gas levels have reached an acceptable amount. Anyone who has already been evacuated or has already spoken with emergency services to leave, should contact Cumberland County Communications at (717)-243-4121 for further updates on returning to their residences.
