On Saturday, May 9, the riders of Police Unity Tour Chapter IX traveled through Westtown and East Goshen on their annual journey to Washington, D.C. for National Police Week.
The Police Unity Tour is a nationwide bicycle ride dedicated to honoring law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The organization also raises funds and awareness for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the families of fallen officers.
During their stop in Westtown Township, Chapter IX held a brief ceremony to honor the memory of Officer Josh Micun and recognize Officer Ted Cam for his 15 years of dedication and service to the Police Unity Tour.
We are grateful for the riders’ continued commitment to preserving the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and supporting the law enforcement community nationwide.
