MISSING ENDANGERED PERSON LOCATED

On January 23, 2020 at 2:38 AM the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a home in the 900 block of Aronimink Drive in the Fairway Village section of East Goshen Township, Chester County.

Police arrived on location and learned from the caller that his 72 year old wife was last seen in their home at 11:00 PM and that she was suffering from several medical conditions. The family vehicles were present at the home and it did not appear that the female took her jacket when she left the residence.

Members of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department began a search for the missing woman and utilized community notification systems through social media and also the Chester County Department of Emergency Services.

Several first responders from the following agencies responded to assist WEGO PD including West Goshen Township Police, Willistown Township Police, East Whiteland Police, Chester County Department of Emergency Services, Chester County Sheriff’s Department, Goshen Fire Company and EMS, East Goshen Township Public Works Department, Pennsylvania State Police Aviation Division, Search and Rescue Dogs of Pennsylvania, Malvern Fire Company and Malvern Fire Company Medics.

At 8:19 AM members of the Goshen Ambulance-Station 56, located the missing female unresponsive in woods off North Chester Road in the area of Fairway Drive. The medical crew rendered care and then transported the patient to Paoli Hospital. The distance from the home to where the victim was located was approximately 500 feet.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department would like to thank all first responders and members of the community who assisted with the search for the missing person.
