On Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Kennett Square Borough Council Meeting, the Kennett Square Police Department welcomed a new officer to our team of dedicated professionals.  Officer Jonathan Kauffman was sworn in by Mayor Fetick to begin a new career with KSPD.  Officer Kauffman brings 17 years of prior law enforcement experience to the department.  We welcome Officer Kauffman and wish him nothing but the best as he joins KSPD in serving the Kennett Square Community.
