4/30/23 at 8:42PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition in the 400 Block of Birch Street. (KS-23-004535). Officers arrived on scene and observed a vehicle running with no driver in sight. The vehicle was turned off and secured and contact was made with the owner.

4/30/23 at 8:07AM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Lafayette Street for an unwanted subject at a residence, who was possibly intoxicated. (KS-23-004523). Upon arriving on location, the subject was not seen in the area and no description was given since the reporting party only heard him and did not open the door.

5/1/23 at 8:41PM, while en route back to Kennett Square Borough from PSP Avondale Barracks, an Officer observed a white Chevy traveling the wrong way on the Route 1/Route 82 exit heading towards oncoming traffic. A traffic stop was initiated and turned over to PSP due to the jurisdiction.

5/1/23 at7:36PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of Mary D. Lang for a suspicious condition involving four juveniles, with one of them on the roof of the school kicking a soccer ball. (KS-23-004586). Pending investigation.

5/3/23 at 11:40AM, Officers were dispatched for juveniles possibly smoking THC vape pens in a bathroom. (KS-23-004650). After making contact with the juveniles, a Non-Traffic Citation was issued.

5/3/23 at 8:24PM, Officers were dispatched for a possible stolen phone in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-23-00). Pending review of surveillance cameras.

5/3/23 at 12:42AM, Officers received a phone assignment in reference to harassment by communication. (KS-23-004633). Due to Police advising this person previously not to have contact with the victim, a Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Harassment.

5/4/23 at 11:35AM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition in the 300 Block of E. Linden Street. (KS-23-004685). The reporting party found a brick on the front step and believes someone may be scoping out the residence. No footage was saved on their camera system to review.

5/4/23 at 11:51AM, Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the 400 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-23-004686). Both parties were advised to keep their distance from each other to prevent further issues.

5/4/23 at 4:33PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Wayne Avenue for a trespassing complaint involving a male who was refusing to leave the property. (KS-23-004693). The subject was transported to his place of employment to wait for a ride.

5/5/23 at 3:44AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a Repossession of a vehicle in the 700 Block of S. Washington Street. (KS-23-004708).

5/5/23 at 11:55AM, while conducting a speed detail in the area of E. State Street and S. Walnut Street, Officers observed a vehicle traveling at 42 MPH in a clearly marked 25MPH area. (KS-23-004728). Upon approaching the vehicle, Officers observed two small, green vegetative matter consistent with marijuana in the center console. One Non-Traffic Citation was issued.

 5/5/23, two KSPD Officers were present for an ERT warrant service in the 800 Block of Coates Street, in Coatesville City. (KS-23-004712). The warrant service was being conducted for CCDET violent crimes unit.

5/5/23 at 4:19PM, Officers received a report of a male exposing his genitals and touching them in the 200 Block of S. Washington Street. (KS-23-004737). Charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct were filed at District Court 15-3-04.

5/5/23 at 7:40PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Center Street for a possible juvenile subject with a BB gun. (KS-23-004741). Kennett Square Police were advised video footage would be obtained for the investigation. Charges are pending for the suspects. This is an ongoing active investigation.

5/6/23 at 11:43AM, Officers were requested to assist Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with a burglary on Sherwood Drive, New Garden Township. (KS-23-004758). The incident turned from a search to an investigation and KSPD assistance was no longer needed.

5/6/23 at 4:32PM, Officers were dispatched for a trespassing complaint in the 400 block of Center Street for four juveniles who hopped the fence into the playground and were playing in the playground. (KS-23-004765). All four juveniles were advised the playground was private property and was not open to the public. The juveniles left the property without incident.

5/6/23 at 5:44PM, while stopped at the traffic light on S. Union Street at the intersection of E. State Street, Officers observed a black Acura SUV fail to stop for the red light. (KS-23-004766). A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the operator advised they did not have insurance. Subsequently, the vehicle was towed from the area.
