8/30/26, at 1:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of E. Cope Road for a well-being check on a resident who had not been seen in a few days. (KS-26-008428). Upon arrival, officers contacted the subject at his apartment without issue.

8/30/26, at 6:56 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of S. Union Street for loud music playing from a pickup truck. (KS-26-008435). Upon arrival, officers checked the area and observed no vehicle matching that description or heard loud music.
8/31/26, at 1:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with a welfare check in the 100 Block of Walnut Run Road. (KS-26-008471).
8/31/26, at 3:29 PM, Officers were dispatched for two juveniles who were dropped off at the Kennett Library without a guardian. (KS-26-008458). Upon arrival, officers determined they had left their residence, and their guardian was searching the area for them. The children were returned without issue. A Childline report was filed.
8/31/26, at 7:44 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a report of juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles. (KS-26-008478). Officers contacted the juveniles in question and explained the dangers of throwing rocks at cars. No damage was observed to the reporting party’s vehicle.
8/31/26, at 11:56 PM, Officers were dispatched for a scam report of a male subject who was being blackmailed into paying a female subject money, or she would release inappropriate pictures that were sent to her. (KS-26-008443). The scammer was blocked, and the reporting person’s profile had been deleted.
9/1/26, at 8:8 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Hornblende Avenue for a loose dog in the roadway. (KS-26-008496). Because the dog's owner had been warned multiple times, officers issued a non-traffic citation for violating the Borough Ordinance.
9/1/26, at 12:50 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Chestnut Street for a well-being check on an individual possibly inflicting self-harm. (KS-26-008503). Upon EMS arrival, the individual voluntarily agreed to go to the hospital for evaluations.
9/1/26, at 8:27 PM, Officers were dispatched to N. Washington Street and W. Linden Street for a tree down on wires. (KS-26-008526). Upon arrival, a large tree and power lines were down in the roadway. Traffic cones were set up in the area, and PECO was advised.

9/1/26, at 10:12 PM, Officers were dispatched to Juniper Street and Church Alley for low-hanging wires that appeared to have been struck by a down tree branch. (KS-26-008530). Officers set up cones to block the road until the wires could be fixed.
9/1/26, at 11:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Union Street for a noise complaint about a generator running in the area. (KS-26-008531). Due to the storm earlier in the night, power was out to a restaurant, and the generator was being used to keep the refrigerator running.

The building owner reported that a female subject stole approximately $100 worth of items from the women’s bathroom and left the area. This incident is pending further investigation.
9/3/26, at 2:13 PM, Officers assisted the East Marlboro Police Department in the 100 Block of E. Locust Lane with a subject who was acting erratically. (KS-26-008588).
9/3/26, at 3:18 PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint about vehicles parked on both sides of the road at W. Cedar Street and S. Union Street, making it difficult for buses and delivery trucks to make their turn. (KS-26-008586).
9/3/26, at 6:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of W. State Street to assist EMS with a mental health concern. (KS-26-008591). The subject refused transport by EMS. The reporting person was referred to contact Valley Creek Crisis to obtain a 302 warrant.
9/4/26, at 4:30 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. State Street for an animal complaint regarding a bat in the home. (KS-26-008605). Officers attempted to locate the bat but were unsuccessful. They advised the homeowner to contact an exterminator to thoroughly check the residence.

9/5/26, at 11:30 AM, Officers assisted the Kennett Township Police Department in the 700 Block of W. Baltimore Pike by providing scene security while they were attempting to take a subject into custody. (KS-26-008659).
