7/28/24 at 4:01 AM Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition of multiple loud, banging noises heard in the 800 Block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-24-006662). Upon arrival on scene the area was checked with no suspicious activity observed.
7/28/24 at 8:53 AM, Officers were dispatched for a brown lab mix dog running up and down Wayne Avenue. (KS-24-006663). Upon arrival, the dog was not observed in the area.
7/28/24 at 8:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of two juveniles pushing a shopping cart, attempting to strike vehicles in the area of Scarlett Aly and S. Union Street. (KS-24-006680). The reporting party advised when they confronted the juveniles they started cursing and displaying their middle fingers. Officers made contact with the juveniles who were made aware of the dangers of pushing a cart down a street and giving people lewd gestures in public.
7/28/24 at 9:49 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Ridge Avenue for a missing male juvenile who had left their residence during an argument. (KS-24-006682). While in route to the call, Officers were advised the male juvenile was located and walking back towards the residence.
7/28/24 at 11:08 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with an odor investigation in the 300 Block of Marshall Street. (KS-24-006673). The fire department checked the building and did not detect any odor or any signs of a fire.
7/29/24 at 3:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report regarding a hit and run accident that occurred on 7/27/24 at approximately 10:00 AM in the 200 Block of S. Garfield Street. (KS-24-006707). Pending further investigation.
7/30/24 at 8:22 AM, Officers were dispatched for keys locked in a vehicle at the intersection of S. Garfield Street and Magnolia Street. (KS-24-006723). Officers were able to gain entry into the vehicle without damage.
7/30/24 at 7:12 PM, Officers were dispatched to an alarm in the 200 Block of S. Union Street. Officers were notified the individual was giving the wrong passcode over the phone and disconnected. (KS-24-006734). There were no apparent signs of break in and the building appeared secure.
7/31/24 at 11:26 AM, Officers were dispatched for damaged items found in a trash can of a residence in the 300 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-24-006754). The reporting party advised the items were intact before they left the apartment to walk their dog. There were no signs of forced entry, and no other items were reported stolen or damaged. Pending further investigation.
7/31/24 at 3:12 PM, Officers were dispatched for a hit and run accident at a gas pump in the 700 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-006759). Officers viewed the store video footage and were able to get the registration of the striking vehicle. Pending further investigation.
8/1/24 at 10:44 AM, Officers were dispatched to contact the Philadelphia Police Department in reference to an arrest warrant issued by our agency. (KS-24-006781). Upon further investigation, it was learned the subject had their hearing in July and was no longer wanted.
8/1/24 at 2:50 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report involving the reporting party being audio recorded during a verbal altercation. (KS-24-006790). The reporting party advised they were unaware they were being recorded during the argument. Pending further investigation.
8/2/24 at 12:00 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with a 302 warrant. (KS-24-006826). Officers assisted as needed and returned to the Borough.
8/2/24 at 12:30 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a motorist yelling and throwing trash out of their window at two pedestrians in the area of N. Union Street. (KS-24-006828). The vehicle was described as a maroon Outback with a lot of stickers on the rear, occupied by teenage males. Based on the direction of travel, no known cameras capable of capturing registrations are located in this area.
8/2/24 at 4:42 PM, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious condition involving solicitors in the 300 Block of Juniper Street. (KS-24-006827). Officers contacted the solicitors who were advised soliciting was not permitted in Kennett Square Borough.
8/3/24 at 1:03 AM, Officers observed a Toyota sedan swerve and nearly trike the curb on the right side of the roadway in the 600 Block of Millers Hill. (KS-24-006837). Subsequently, the operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
8/3/24 at 8:44 AM, Officers were dispatched to Meredith Street and W. Cypress Street for a wire down. (KS-24-006840). Officers arrived and observed a retainer wire dangling above the grass in front of a home in the 100 Block of Meredith Street. PECO was contacted.
8/3/24 at 10:25 PM, Officers were dispatched for a car alarm in the 300 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-24-006857). The vehicle appeared to be fully intact and did not have any sign of being tampered with. Nothing was taken, moved, or damaged inside the vehicle.
7/29/24 at 7:53 AM, a Reportable Accident occurred on W. Cypress Street at its intersection with S. Washington Street. (KS-24-006690).
7/31/24 at 3:24 PM, a Non-Reportable Accident occurred on W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-006759).
