Police Activity Blotter 7/26/26 - 8/1/26

7/26/26, at 2:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Center Street in response to a report of harassment by communication. (KS-26-007255). Upon further investigation, a criminal complaint was completed.

7/26/26, at 4:32 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Kennett Township Police Department with locating a suicidal subject whose phone pinged in Anson B. Nixon Park. (KS-26-007273). The individual was identified from the provided photo, and KTPD made contact.

7/26/26, at 9:25 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Meredith Street for a fireworks complaint. (KS-26-007283). Upon further investigation, it was determined the fireworks were coming from the 700 Block of Lafayette Street, and the owner of the residence was advised of the Borough Ordinance. 

7/26/26, at 10:04 PM, Officers assisted the Valley Township Police Department with Spanish translation of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests over the phone. (KS-26-007287). 

7/27/26, at 4:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Walnut Court Way for a vehicle parked on private property. (KS-26-007302). One parking ticket was issued.

7/27/26, at 4:54 PM, while on patrol, Officers observed a pair of Rack-A-Tiers brand wire reel racks at the corner of E. Cypress Street and S. Broad Street. (KS-26-007306). The item was taken back to the station and entered into property.

7/27/26, at 6:04 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Wayne Avenue in response to a report of a Facebook scam involving payment to an unknown person for an apartment. (KS-26-007309). This incident is pending further investigation.

7/27/26, at 6:58 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Magnolia Street regarding stolen AirPods that were possibly taken from the Garage and were being tracked to that location. (KS-26-007312). Contact was made with several neighbors in the area, who advised that they did not have children who frequented the Garage.

7/27/26, at 7:58 PM, Officers received a report of possible sexual assault that occurred a few years ago. (KS-26-007315). This incident is pending further investigation.

7/28/26, a ChildLine referral was received of possible child abuse. (KS-26-007346). Upon further investigation, the Children, Youth & Families caseworker reported no visible physical injuries were observed during their home visit.

7/28/26, at 11:37 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Union Street for a vehicle blocking a driveway. (KS-26-007337). One parking ticket was issued.

7/28/26, at 12:18 PM, Officers were dispatched to a crash on S. Walnut Street, reported via an iPhone. (KS-26-007339). Upon arrival, the phone’s owner was contacted inside a car that showed no signs of damage. He stated he was okay and did not know why it was reported. 

7/28/26, at 12:31 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street for a well-being check due to a strong odor. (KS-26-007340). Upon further investigation, it appeared to be a civil issue involving a tenant who did not allow someone to enter to check the plumbing.

7/28/26, at 1:29 PM, Officers were given a debit card found inside the parking garage. (KS-26-007342). The financial institution was contacted and advised that the card had already been deactivated, and it could be discarded. 

7/29/26, at 11:53 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Birch Street for a noise complaint of a loud mechanical noise. (KS-26-007389). Officers arrived and stayed on scene for several minutes, but no unusual noise was heard. 

7/30/26, at 10:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Scarlett Avenue for a vehicle parked in front of the reporting party’s residence without a valid parking permit. (KS-26-007400). One parking ticket was issued.

7/30/26, at 1:40 PM, Officers were dispatched for solicitors who were in the borough the previous day and came off pushy. (KS-26-007413). The reporting party was advised to contact police if they had any other solicitors come to their home since they are not allowed in the Borough.

7/30/26, at 4:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of harassment via communication involving juvenile females. (KS-26-007414). This incident is pending further investigation.

7/30/26, at 8:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Chestnut Street for a mental health crisis occurring. Officers contacted 988 and requested they respond to the address to assist the individual, who was later transported to the hospital for treatment. 

7/30/26, at 11:04 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Oxford Police Department with a fight involving 25-30 people. (KS-26-007426). While en route, Oxford Police advised there was no fight and that responding units could cancel.

7/31/26, at 12:15 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report regarding bad checks written to a business totaling approximately $15,458. (KS-007437). This incident is pending further investigation.

7/31/26, at 3:58 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Richards Road for an in-process crime of someone stealing things from the caller’s house. (KS-26-007442). While on scene, another party advised Officers that the reporting party was mentally unwell and there was no crime being committed. The residence was checked to verify.

8/1/26, at 4:05 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. Cypress Street and S. Walnut Street for a well-being check of a male who was waving at traffic and appeared off. (KS-26-007473).  Officers attempted to locate the person but were unable to find anyone on scene matching the description provided.

8/1/26, at 4:18 PM, a traffic stop was conducted in the 600 Block of W. State Street. (KS-26-007474). The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.

8/1/26, at 11:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of S. Garfield Street for a report of loud music. (KS-26-007479). Upon arrival, no music could be heard.

7/26/26, at 6:29 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Union Street. (KS-26-007259).

7/28/26, at 6:04 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. State Street. (KS-26-007350).

7/28/26, at 6:41 PM, a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of S. Union Street and Scarlett Avenue. (KS-26-007351).

7/29/26, at 8:38 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Union Street. (KS-26-007384).

7/31/26, at 5:24 PM, a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of W. State Street and Meredith Street. (KS-26-0070443).

8/1/26, at 5:11 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. State Street. (KS-26-007476).
