Police Activity Blotter 7/19/26 - 7/25/26

7/19/26, at 12:58 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Union Street and Juniper Street for a well-being check of a driver operating a white Toyota with its hazard signals on. (KS-26-006996). Officers were already in this area and did not see the described vehicle drive past.

7/1926, at 6:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of E. Cope Road for a bullet found inside an apartment. (KS-26-007004). Subsequently, one subject was taken into custody.

7/20/26, at 1:01 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Union Street for a report of bad checks. (KS-26-007033). The reporting party advised that a check they had cashed was returned because it had previously been deposited into a bank account. This incident is pending further investigation.

7/20/26, at 1:05 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Meredith Street for a car blocking the alley. (KS-26-007032). Upon arrival, the vehicle was located and did not appear to be obstructing the alley.

7/20/26, at 7:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Broad Street for a reported disturbance between neighbors. (KS-26-007051). Both parties were advised to avoid further contact with one another unless absolutely necessary. 

7/21/26, at 12:02 AM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department at the intersection of Scarlett Road and W. Baltimore Pike. (KS-26-007057).

7/21/26, at 10:46 AM, Officers were dispatched to N. Walnut Street for a tractor-trailer disabled in the roadway. (KS-26-007071). Upon arrival, cones were observed around the vehicle to block traffic, and Officers were advised that a tow was on the way.

7/21/26, at 12:31 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of E. Cypress Street and S. Walnut Street for a middle-aged male running in traffic and pointing at cars. (KS-26-007076). Upon arrival, the described subject was not near the intersection or in the surrounding area.

7/21/26, at 3:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Lafayette Street for a disturbance involving multiple people fighting. (KS-26-007083). Upon further investigation, it appeared to be mutual combat between male subjects over a female.

7/21/26, at 4:39 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Union Street for a vehicle parked in the reporting person’s driveway, blocking their garage. (KS-26-007085). One parking ticket was issued for parking on private property.

7/21/26, at 6:42 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for the gates not functioning properly. (KS-26-007090). Upon arrival, both gates were manually opened.

7/22/26, at 8:59 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Marshall Street for a vehicle that had not been moved in three weeks. (KS-26-007109). The vehicle was marked abandoned due to expired registration, inspections, and emissions.

7/22/26, at 9:42 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Broad Street for down wires in the roadway. (KS-26-00710). Upon arrival, Verizon was contacted and advised of the incident.

7/22/26, at 12:19 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Scarlett Aly for keys locked inside of a vehicle. (KS-26-007115).

7/22/26. At 8:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of E. South Street for a 302 warrant. (KS-26-007128). The subject of the warrant was taken to the hospital by ambulance without issue.

7/22/26, at 6:55 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Race Street for a female subject having suicidal ideations. (KS-26-007121). EMS personnel arrived on scene and transported the subject to the hospital without incident.

7/23/26, at 9:26 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street for a well-being check of an older female who appeared confused. (KS-26-007139). The subject was located and appeared to have signs of dementia. Officers drove her back to her residence.

7/23/26, at 7:36 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Walnut Street for keys locked inside of a vehicle. (KS-26-007160).

7/23/26, at 8:01 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Terminal Way for vehicles that were parked on private property. (KS-26-007163). Upon arrival, 26 parking tickets were issued to vehicles.

7/24/26, Officers were advised of a male subject who was selling coconut water in the parking lot of a business in the 500 Block of S. Union Street who did not have the proper permits. (KS-26-007234). On 7/25/26, at 2:23 PM, Officers contacted the subject and advised they could no longer sell his product without proper licensing. 

7/24/26, at 3:24 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding harassment of a female subject by a former coworker. (KS-26-007194). Officers received the coworker's contact information and were advised to have no further contact with the reporting party. 

7/25/26, at 1:29 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Harvey Circle for a welfare check on a male subject who was threatened by another subject and had a knife held to his throat. (KS-26-007212). Subsequently, one subject was taken into custody and transported to Chester County Prison.

7/25/26, at 4:03 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Lafayette Street for a suspicious condition of a young male subject looking into apartment windows. (KS-26-007213). The individual was not observed in any other suspicious activity, such as damaging property.

7/25/26, at 10:43 AM, Officers were dispatched to a phone assignment for a scam report involving a female subject demanding gift cards be sent to her, or she would release inappropriate pictures of the reporting party. (KS-26-007222). The incident is pending further investigation.

7/25/26, at 2:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 500 Block of S. Union Street for a noise complaint. 9KS-26-007237). Upon arrival, no loud music was heard in the area. 

7/25/26, at 8:35 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Walnut Court Way for keys locked inside of a vehicle. (KS-26-007243).

7/20/26, at 2:23 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. Cypress Street. (KS-26-007034).

7/20/26, at 4:43 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on E. South Street. (KS-26-007045).

7/21/26, at 4:07 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on E. Maple Street. (KS-26-007084).

7/25/26, at 11:41 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on N. Union Street. (KS-26-007240).


Traffic Enforcement

41 Traffic Citations and 47 Written Warnings were issued.

144 Parking Tickets were issued.


Patrol & Business Check

13 Business Checks were conducted in the Business District.

79 Extra Patrol Checks were conducted in Kennett Square Borough.
