7/14/24 at 12:18 AM, Officers were dispatched for a verbal argument in the 800 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-24-006170). Upon arrival, the area was checked, and no disturbance was observed.
7/14/24 at 10:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a verbal domestic. (KS-24-006205). The involved subjects agreed to stay separated for the remainder of the evening.
7/15/24 at 10:26 PM, Officers were dispatched for an alarm in the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-006241). Upon arrival, no alarm was going off and all appeared ok.
7/16/24 at 4:22 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of N. Mill Road for a report of a damaged vehicle caused by a broken communication line. (KS-24-006260).
7/16/24 at 9:17 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an alarm in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-24-006270).
7/16/24 at 10:44 PM, while on patrol, Officers observed a large branch down in the roadway in the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-006274). Two vehicles were observed to be damaged due to the fallen branch. Officers made contact with the vehicle owners to advise of the damage.
7/17/24 at 11:41 AM, Officers were dispatched for a downed wire in the 600 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-24-006305). Officers asked Chester County Police Radio to notify Verizon for the communication line.
7/17/24 at 10:51 AM, Officers were dispatched for a reported domestic disturbance in the 600 Block of Ridge Avenue. (KS-24006303). After further investigation, Officers advised this was a civil matter.
7/17/24 at 1:45 PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition in the area of W. Cypress Street and S. Mill Road for a male subject who had run from a Chester County Park Rangers vehicle after they provided a courtesy transport. (KS-24-006307). At 5:47 PM, Officers located the male subject, who had a warrant out of Delaware County. He was transported to PSP Media.
7/17/24 at 6:47 PM, Officers were dispatched for a barking dog in the area of S. Walnut Street and Juniper Street. (KS-24-006318). Prior to arrival, it was advised the dog had stopped barking and that police presence was no longer needed.
7/17/24 at 11:34 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with a transformer explosion in the 300 Block of Sycamore Aly. (KS-24-006328).
7/18/24 at 12:02 AM, Officers were dispatched to the Kennett Library for an audible burglar alarm. All exterior doors were checked and secured. (KS-24-006329).
7/18/24 at 8:14 AM, Officers observed a Hispanic male walking on the railroad tracks near Center Street. (KS-24-006341). The male was advised the railroad company requests no one is on the tracks for safety reasons.
7/18/24 at 4:50 PM, while assisting with road closures for the Third Thursday event, a white Ford was observed parked in the 100 Block of E. State Street. (KS-24-006356). Several local businesses in the area were contacted, attempting to find the owner of the vehicle. Due to safety concerns and the streets being shut down, the vehicle was towed.
7/18/24 at 9:15 PM, Officers were waved down in the 100 Block of E. South Street and advised of a group of juveniles who were throwing slices of cheese at the reporting party’s vehicle while he was driving. (KS-24-006371). Contact was made with the group of juveniles who were advised the reporting party did not want them cited this time, but this could cause an accident.
7/19/24 at 10:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to Dalmatian Lane for a traffic hazard. (KS-24-006382). The reporting party advised they wanted the port-a-potty across from their residence removed. The reporting party was advised to call the company on the side of the port-a-potty and have them remove it.
7/20/24 at 3:02 AM, Officers were requested by Southern Chester County Regional Police Department to assist with a male subject under the influence of controlled substances in the 8000 Block of Gap-Newport Road. (KS-24-006416).
7/20/24 at 7:56 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Ridge Avenue for a 911 hang-up. (KS-24-006431). Officers contacted everyone at the residence who advised it must have been an accident and that they were ok.
