Police Activity Blotter 4/19/26 - 4/25/26

4/19/26, at 8:59 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a scam attempt involving a door-to-door solar panel salesman. (KS-26-003706). After speaking with the reporting party, they were advised that nothing sounded out of the ordinary about the interactions described.

4/20/26, at 8:52 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of lost keys that had gone missing sometime on the evening of 4/18. (KS-26-003739). Unfortunately, no keys had been turned in at that time.

4/20/26, at 12:32 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of W. State Street and S. Washington Street for a vehicle parked too close to a stop sign. (KS-26-0037417). The vehicle was located, and a parking ticket was issued.

4/20/26, at 2:43 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with heavily tinted windows and windshield in the 900 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-26-003751). The operator of the vehicle consented to a search due to Officers detecting a strong odor of marijuana. This incident is pending criminal charges for the drug paraphernalia located inside the vehicle.

4/20/26, at 3:20 PM, Officers were dispatched to a report of online theft. (KS-26-003752). The reporting party advised that multiple accounts had been hacked, and they were out approximately $3,475. This incident is pending further investigation.

4/21/26, at 9:08 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of an erratic vehicle in the area of S. Union Street and E. Cypress Street. (KS-26-003808). Upon arrival, the area was checked, and no vehicle matching the description was found. 

4/22/26, at 7:40 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for an ongoing harassment report between two female juveniles. (KS-26-003833). This incident is pending further investigation.

4/22/26, at 1:00 PM, Officers were provided a brown Michael Kors wallet that was found on the Kennett High School track. (KS-26-003829). The wallet was placed in the department's lost and found.

4/22/26, at 2:24 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Kennett Township Police Department in the 400 Block of McFarlan Road for a suspicious condition. (KS-26-003835). Upon arrival, it was determined that no assistance was needed, and the officers returned to the Borough.

4/23/26, at 9:15 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for a male juvenile with a THC vape. (KS-26-003877). A Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Disorderly Conduct.

4/24/26, at 1:04 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Cypress Street for suspicious activity of someone in a vacant apartment making noise. (KS-26-003906). Contact was made with a contractor who was installing a floor. They were advised that it was disturbing the neighbors and they finished for the evening.

4/24/26, at 8:56 AM, Officers received a ChildLine report in reference to a female juvenile allegedly being sexually assaulted several years ago. (KS-26-003903). This incident is pending further investigation.

4/24/26, at 4:20 PM, Officers received a report at station of a male in a black Escalade that stopped their vehicle and was acting in a suspicious manner towards the reporting party, asking if she carried pepper spray and to look at an object that was inside the vehicle. (KS-26-003918). This incident is pending further investigation.

4/25/26, at 4:50 PM, while on patrol in the business district, Officers were flagged down by a male individual who advised that a male subject had run up to him, taken his Israeli flag, and run south on S. Union Street with it before breaking the post and throwing the flag in the garbage. (KS-26-003920). The subject was not located in the area; however, Officers are attempting to obtain video footage in this area for further investigation.

4/25/26, at 9:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage due to a stuck gate. (KS-26-003955). Upon arrival, no vehicles were seen waiting for the gate, and it appeared to be working properly. 

4/25/26, at 9:18 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Lafayette Street for a parking complaint. (KS-26-003956). Upon arrival, the vehicle was located directly in front of the reporting party’s driveway. A parking ticket was issued, and the vehicle was towed from the location.

4/25/26, at 11:24 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Lafayette Street for a parking complaint. (KS-26-003959). Upon arrival, a black pickup truck was observed parked in front of the residence with the front bumper overhanging the edge of the driveway easement. A parking ticket was issued.


Vehicle Accidents

4/21/26, at 7:51 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on Race Street. (P26148406).

4/23/26 at 12:44 PM, a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of S. Mill Road and W. Cypress Street. (P26150872).

4/25/26, at 9:07 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Union Street. (P26154150).


Traffic Enforcement

34 Traffic Citations and 41 Written Warnings were issued.

55 Parking Tickets were issued.


Patrol & Business Check

14 Business Checks were conducted in the Business District.

96 Extra Patrol Checks were conducted in Kennett Square Borough.
