Police Activity Blotter 3/8/26 - 3/14/26

3/8/26, at 5:51 pm, Officers were dispatched to Anson B. Nixon Park for a report of a male subject exposing his genitals. (KS-26-002311). Kennett Township Police arrived and located the subject. It was determined that the incident occurred in their jurisdiction.

3/9/26, at 10:34 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Terminal Way for a physical altercation between two male subjects. (KS-26-002329). This incident is pending further investigation to determine if charges will be filed.

3/10/26, at 1:46 PM, Officers received a report of a lost black and orange Kline Tools lunch box that may have fallen off their vehicle between Coatesville and Kennett Square. (KS-26-002362). Unfortunately, no lunch box has been turned in to the police at this time.

3/10/26, at 1:51 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Scarlett Avenue for juveniles damaging the reporting party’s fence. (KS-26-002364). Officers observed normal weathering on the wood but spoke with the staff members and advised them to keep the children away from that area.

3/10/26, at 7:18 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Dalmatian Lane to assist EMS with a patient who had a change in mental status. (KS-26-002374). The patient was able to have someone come and pick them up.

3/11/26, at 6:45 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding construction laws in the Borough. (KS-26-002398). The report party advised that they hear construction noises all day long and wanted to know if it was allowed. They were advised that there is an exception for construction in the Borough’s noise ordinance due to the inherently loud nature of construction.

3/12/26, at 9:20 AM, Officers received a report regarding a possible altercation between two female juveniles. (KS-26-002418). The reporting person observed text messages on their daughter’s phone about the altercation occurring at Legacy Fields. Officers advised they would patrol the area to help prevent any problems.

3/12/26, at 1:45 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Magnolia Street for a scam report. (KS-26-002426). The reporting party did not suffer any financial loss during this incident.

3/12/26, at 7:59 PM, Officers were dispatched for an erratic driver that was last seen turning onto E. Linden Street. (KS-26-002436). After contacting the operator of the vehicle, he was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.  

3/13/26, at 5:00 AM, Officer Andress assisted with a Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team warrant service in the 3300 Block of Lincoln Highway, located in Caln Township. (KS-26-002567).

3/13/26, at 3:50 PM, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of S. Union Street and E. South Street for a malfunctioning traffic light. (KS-26-002461). All lights in the area were functioning normally when officers arrived.

3/13/26, at 7:29 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for someone who was unable to exit. (KS-26-0024670. Officers arrived and assisted with opening the gate.

3/14/26, at 12:35 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Linden Street for a physical altercation between two sisters. (KS-26-002490). After speaking to the subjects involved, it was determined to be a mutual altercation. Ambulance services were denied.

3/14/26, at 4:28 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Lafayette Street for a 2-year-old who was unresponsive. Upon arrival, Officers observed the juvenile breathing slowly and found a pulse. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

3/14/26, at 6:22 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for the gate not opening. (KS-26-002503). Upon arrival, the area was checked, and the gate appeared to be functioning appropriately. 

3/14/26, at 8:58 PM, Officers were notified by the Kennett Township Police Department that they were pursuing a vehicle into the Borough. (KS-26-002510). The vehicle was located in the 500 Block of Lafayette Street shortly thereafter.


Vehicle Accidents

3/12/26, at 4:16 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. State Street. (KS-26-002429).

3/14/26, at 11:28 AM, a vehicle accident occurred on Center Street. (KS-26-002489).


Traffic Enforcement

20 Traffic Citations and 45 Written Warnings were issued.

170 Parking Tickets were issued.


Patrol & Business Check

14 Business Checks were conducted in the Business District.

73 Extra Patrol Checks were conducted in Kennett Square Borough.
