3/29/26, at 5:04 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. Mulberry Street for water leaking through their fire alarm from the upstairs apartment. (KS-26-003019). Upon arrival, Officers learned that two juveniles had been left alone in the residence for approximately 30 minutes. This incident is pending further investigation.
3/29/26, at 5:50 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for a person unable to exit. (KS-26-003020). Upon arrival, the person was no longer on location.
3/29/26, at 6:27 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. State Street for graffiti discovered on the side of a detached garage. (KS-26-003022). Officers contacted the property manager and advised them of the vandalism.
3/30/26, at 1:02 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Willow Street to assist Chester County Children, Youth, and Families with an investigation. (KS-26-003049). Upon arrival, all appeared normal within the house and with the children.
3/30/26, at 1:50 PM, a fax was received from PA Megan’s Law regarding non-compliance with registration requirements by a Borough resident. (KS-26-003052). Upon attempting to contact the resident, a neighbor advised that they had moved to Mexico approximately three months ago.
3/30/26, at 11:02 PM, Officers were requested to assist the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with a subject who fled from a traffic stop. (KS-26-003032). While enroute, KSPD was advised that they were no longer needed.
3/30/26, at 6:16 PM, Officers were advised by Chester County Police Radio to be on the lookout for a Honda Civic after 911 received a message stating that the reporting person was being threatened with a firearm at a business in Avondale. (KS-26-003061). Officers were then advised that the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale would handle the call.
3/31/26, at 2:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of E. Cope Road for a suspicious condition involving a late-model Ford parked illegally in their parking lot. (KS-26-003086). Because this is a private lot, Officers advised that the manager could leave a note on company letterhead instructing them not to park there anymore.
3/31/26, at 8:51 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a disturbance involving an allegedly intoxicated male subject arguing with others about parking spaces. (KS-26-003094). Upon arrival, the aggressor was no longer in the area; however, Officers spoke with some of the subjects involved, who stated that no physical altercation occurred.
4/1/26, while at District Court for traffic hearings, Officers were advised of an alleged domestic incident that had occurred on 3/29/26. (KS-26-003107). This incident is pending further investigation.
4/1/26, at 10:17 AM, Officers received a report of a missing license plate that was discovered after a trip to Malvern and back to Kennett Square on 3/1/26. (KS-26-003110). The license plate was entered as stolen with Chester County Emergency Services.
4/1/26, at 11:30 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of N. Union Street on a vehicle with a heavily tinted front windshield. (KS-26-003114). Upon further investigation during the traffic stop, the operator was taken into custody for carrying a firearm without a license.
4/2/26, at 12:19 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a report of a missing person who had fled their residence after a verbal argument. (KS-26-003131). While searching the area for the male juvenile, Officers were notified that he had returned to the residence.
4/3/26, at 6:47 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of James Walker Way and S. Union Street on a vehicle that repeatedly failed to maintain its lane of travel. (KS-26-003198). Upon further investigation, the operator was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
4/3/26, at 7:49 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of N. Willow Street for a report of a landlord not addressing plumbing issues in an apartment. (KS-26-0031990. Officers explained to the reporting person that this issue is a civil matter and that law enforcement cannot get involved because no criminal activity has taken place.
4/4/26, at 1:31 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain its lane of travel. (KS-26-003210). Upon further investigation, the operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
4/4/26, 4:48 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for someone having difficulties exiting. (KS-26-003223). Officers showed them how to pay at the kiosk, and they left without issue.
4/3/26, at 3:30 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on Center Street. (KS-26-003194).
4/3/26, at 4:51 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on E. State Street. (KS-26-003195).
20 Traffic Citations and 43 Written Warnings were issued.
Parking Tickets were issued.
14 Business Checks were conducted in the Business District.
87 Extra Patrol Checks were conducted in Kennett Square Borough.
