Police Activity Blotter 3/15/26 - 3/21/26

3/15/26, at 10:26 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of S. Broad Street for the train light flashing intermittently for an hour. (KS-26-002523). East Penn was contacted about the warning signal being on.

3/15/26, at 12:58 PM, Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 Block of Scarlett Avenue with a lift assist. (KS-26-002529).

3/15/26, at 3:19 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Chestnut Street for a harassment report. (KS-26-002532). Officers advised one subject that they were no longer allowed on the reporting party’s property, or they would be cited for trespassing.

3/15/26, at 6:57 PM, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of E. South Street and S. Union Street for a welfare check on a female subject who had fallen. (KS-26-002536). The patient advised that she was okay and refused medical treatment.

3/16/26, at 2:44 PM, Officers were dispatched to a report of possible damage to the water tower in the 400 Block of E. Maple Street. (KS-26-002563). Upon arrival, no damage was observed, but a small door located in the middle of the tower was open.

3/16/26, at 8:43 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Lafayette Street for a disturbance. (KS-26-002571). Upon speaking with the subjects involved, it was determined that the dispute was over a washer and dryer and was verbal. No damage was observed.

3/17/26, at 9:33 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Mulberry Street for a suspicious condition of blood in the roadway. (KS-26-002621). Upon arrival, Officers observed a deceased rabbit in the roadway.

3/18/26, at 7:10 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Birch Street for a verbal altercation between two male subjects. (KS-26-002629). Officers advised both subjects that they had to coexist with one another since they lived in the same residence.

3/18/26, at 10:05 AM, Officers were dispatched to the YMCA for a medical call involving chest pains. (KS-26-002632). The patient was checked and treated by EMS personnel.

3/18/26, at 3:19 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a parking complaint about a vehicle blocking garage doors. (KS-26-002641). Upon arrival, the vehicle had already been moved.

3/18/26, at 9:46 PM, Officers contacted a male subject in the 300 Block of E. State Street who appeared to be smoking something while walking on the sidewalk. (KS-26-002652). Prior to contact, Officers detected an extremely strong odor of marijuana in the area. Upon further investigation, a Non-Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct was issued.

3/19/26, at 3:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a theft report regarding a stolen package. (KS-26-002687). After speaking with the reporting person, Officers were advised that the store from which the items were purchased was in the process of reimbursing them. 

3/19/26, at 5:43 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Birch Street for a physical domestic involving a mother and daughter. (KS-26-002692). Both subjects were contacted, and the daughter was advised that if she continued to act out in this manner, she would be cited or arrested.

3/20/26, Officer Andress assisted with a Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team warrant in the 900 Block of Madison Street in Valley Township. (KS-26-002718). 

3/20/26, at 12:30 PM, Officers received a report involving a missing person. (KS-26-002715). Upon further investigation, it was determined that the missing person was admitted to a clinic for psychiatric care and was okay.

3/21/26, at 9:15 AM, Officers were requested to assist the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with searching for an individual who had left Bowling Green in an emotional state. (KS-26-002736). Upon arrival, the individual had already been located. 

3/21/26, at 6:53 PM, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 100 Block of E. State Street for a disturbance involving two female subjects. (KS-26-002752). After speaking with the parties involved, they were both advised that no crime was committed and that they should speak to their employer about the situation.

3/21/26, at 10:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Union Street for a noise complaint. (KS-26-002759). An event was located inside a hall, and Officers asked if they could lower the music. The DJ complied with the request and advised that the event was about to be over.

3/21/26, at 11:51 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Juniper Street for juveniles being loud and loitering in the parking lot. (KS-26-002765). Upon arrival, the reporting party advised Officers that the issue had been resolved and that the juveniles were not doing anything wrong, but they were concerned because vehicles had been stolen from that area in the past.


Vehicle Accidents

3/17/26, at 6:35 AM, a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of S. Union Street and E. State Street. (KS-26-002581).


Traffic Enforcement

38 Traffic Citations and 55 Written Warnings were issued.

141 Parking Tickets were issued.


Patrol & Business Check

15 Business Checks were conducted in the Business District.

85 Extra Patrol Checks were conducted in Kennett Square Borough.
