3/1/26, at 1:59 PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of suspicious activity. (KS-26-002049). The reporting party advised that their son had recently been involved in a physical altercation with another male subject, and that they are now threatening to harm her family. The male subject was notified to avoid contact with the reporting party and their family.
3/1/26, at 10:20 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for an animal complaint about an injured rabbit. (KS-26-002056). The reporting party was advised that, unfortunately, there was nothing the police could do for the state that the rabbit was in, and that they may want to contact a vet.
3/2/26, at 8:20 AM, Officers observed a male juvenile smoking what was determined to be a THC vape in the 100 Block of E. South Street. (KS-26-002082). One Non-Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct was issued.
3/3/26, at 4:22 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding a package theft in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road. (KS-26-002121). The reporting party advised that they did not want to file charges and only wanted to report the theft.
3/3/26, at 9:02 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of E. Cypress Street for a parking complaint about a vehicle parked in the report party’s parking spot. (KS-26-002129). Officers advised that they could not tow the vehicle from private property, and they would need to contact their landlord.
3/4/26, at 10:56 AM, Officers were dispatched for a well-being check in the 600 Block of Meadow Creek Lane. (KS-26-002140). Contact was made with the subject, who appeared healthy and in good condition.
3/4/26, at 4:35 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Meadow Creek Lane for a well-being check for a possible 302. (KS-26-002148). The subject was transported to the hospital by ambulance without issue.
3/4/26, at 10:02 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of E. South Street for a change in mental status. (KS-26-002150). The patient would not speak with the police while on scene; they just continued to cry and hide their face. Medics arrived and transported the patient to the hospital for evaluation.
3/6/26, at 8:35 AM, Officers were dispatched to assist the Kennett Township Police Department with an erratic driver who had entered the Borough. (KS-26-002231). Upon arrival, the driver had left the Borough and could not be located.
3/6/26, at 9:45, Officers contacted a resident and advised that they could not use parking cones to block street parking on Mulberry Street because it was obstructing traffic. (KS-26-002232). The cones were removed without issue.
3/6/26, at 11:18 AM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding harassment. (KS-26-002233). Upon further investigation, it was determined to be an ongoing civil matter, and the reporting party was advised to contact their attorney.
3/6/26, at 5:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. Cypress Street for a loose cat. (KS-26-002242). The reporting party was advised to contact the SPCA.
3/6/26, at 9:35 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 Block of N. Union Street on a vehicle with expired registration. (KS-26-002253). Upon further investigation, the vehicle’s operator was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
3/7/26, at 3:56 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Horneblende Avenue for a vehicle parked too close to the reporting party’s driveway, creating a hazard. (KS-26-002276). Officers contacted the vehicle owner, who moved their vehicle without issue.
3/17/26, at 7:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. State Street for damage to a vehicle caused by juveniles in the area. (KS-26-002283). The reporting party advised that they had run into the hood of his car, causing a minor scratch, and would just like Officers to speak to them about it. The juveniles apologized for their behavior.
3/7/26, at 7:18 PM, while conducting a patrol check of Anson B. Nixon Park, two juveniles were observed walking around. (KS-26-002282). They advised that they were only cutting through the park to avoid walking on the road. Officers advised that the park is closed and they could not be there after dusk in the future.
3/7/26, at 9:00 PM, Officers were requested to assist the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department with translating Standardized Field Sobriety Tests into Spanish. (KS-26-00
2288).
3/7/26, at 11:15 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of W. Cypress Street on a vehicle. (KS-26-002292). Upon further contact with the operator of the vehicle, Officers conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and a preliminary breath test, which determined his BAC was below the legal limit.
