2/15/26, at 6:29 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of S. Garfield Street for a parking complaint about a vehicle parked in front of a fire hydrant. (KS-26-001613). The vehicle was issued a parking ticket.
2/16/26, at 9:33 AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of Juniper Street and Church Alley for two allegedly abandoned vehicles. (KS-26-001629). One of the described vehicles was tagged abandoned due to the expired registration, emissions, and inspection certifications.
2/16/26, at 2:48 PM, Officers were dispatched to a report of credit card fraud totaling approximately $3,000. (KS-26-001641). This incident is pending further investigation.

2/17/26, at 11:23 AM, Officers were dispatched to conduct a Megan’s Law investigation for a subject who had failed to update their information with the Pennsylvania State Police. (KS-26-001670).
2/17/26, at 5:20 PM, Officers received a phone assignment regarding obtaining a PFA against the reporting person’s husband. (KS-26-001683). Officers provided the on-call judge’s information, and copies of the District Attorney’s Officer crime victims packet, domestic violence center pamphlet, and PA state crime victims resources. They were also advised to call 911 immediately if any emergency arose.
2/17/26 at 7:35 PM, Officers observed a Honda SUV that was parked over three feet into the roadway in the 600 Block of W. State Street. (KS-26-001689). A parking ticket was issued after Officers observed vehicles swerving around the parked vehicle, disrupting traffic flow and endangering drivers.
2/18/26, at 11:59 AM, Officers were dispatched to a fire investigation on the railroad tracks between the Union Street bridge and Las Rosas Drive. (KS-26-001704). The fire department advised that they believed a homeless person had ignited a dead stump in the brush in attempts to keep warm. After extensive searching, Officers were unable to locate the subject involved.
2/18/26, at 12:23 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Meredith Street for a parking complaint. (KS-26-001705). The reporting party advised that they could not exit their garage because a vehicle parked on the street was impeding the owner’s vehicle's exit. One parking ticket was issued.
2/18/26, at 5:25 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of W. South Street for a public service call of a burst pipe that was leaking into the reporting party’s basement. (KS-26-001713). Upon arrival, the Streets department was already on scene attempting to rectify the situation.
2/19/26, at 6:47 PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint of multiple vehicles parked in the middle of Terminal Way and along the road leading to the reporting party’s business. (KS-26-001745). Parking tickets were issued for these vehicles.
2/19/26, at 9:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with an alarm at Friends' home in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-26-001750). Upon arrival, Officers assisted with traffic control at State and Union Street until fire police arrived.
2/20/26, at 8:17 AM, Officers were dispatched to N. Garfield Street for a potential car theft attempt. (KS-26-001760). Upon further investigation, the male subject described by the reporting party is the vehicle's owner.
2/20/26, at 9:32 PM, Officers were approached by a resident who inquired about random vehicles parking alongside their house and leaving their cars there for several days or weeks at a time. (KS-26-001776). They were advised that the street is a public roadway and that there is limited action police can take beyond ensuring the vehicles are not abandoned.
2/20/26, at 10:33 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of S. Union Street for a noise complaint of loud music. (KS-26-001777). Upon making contact at the residence, Officers observed multiple juveniles drinking alcohol inside the residence with no adult present. The alcohol was confiscated, and a non-traffic citation was issued for the homeowner’s child.
2/20/26, at 11:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious condition in the area of the KAU fields. (KS-26-001778). Upon arrival, it was observed that the banging that was reported was coming from a utility company working on a telephone pole at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Lafayette Street.
2/21/26, at 12:17 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling the wrong way on East State Street. (KS-26-001781). Upon contacting the vehicle’s operator, Officers detected an odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from inside the vehicle. Subsequently, the subject was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
