11/24/24, at 9:00 AM, Officers were advised of a missing brown terrier in the 500 Block of Kenview Avenue (KS-24-010473). Later in the day, the dog was reunited with its owner.

11/24/24, at 1:19 PM, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance in the 200 Block of S. Willow Street. (KS-24-010480). After speaking with both involved parties, they appeared calm and uninjured.

11/24/24, at 6:49 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Walnut Street for a parking complaint of an illegally parked white SUV (KS-24-010484). Two vehicles were observed in a “No Parking” zone upon arrival. Parking tickets were issued.

11/25/24, at 12:16 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. Linden Street for a shots-fired report (KS-24-010493). Prior to dispatch, Officers observed fireworks in that general area. Upon arrival, Officers searched the area with negative results to show the use of fireworks or shell casings from a firearm.

11/25/24, at 8:15 AM, Officers assisted with a School Lockdown Drill in the 400 Block of Center Street/ (KS-24-010501).

11/25/24, at 3:34 PM, Officers were dispatched for a vehicle parked in the 500 Block of Worrall Avenue, parked against traffic flow. (KS-24-010518). One parking ticket was issued.

11/25/24, at 9:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to S. Union Street and Magnolia Street for a report of fireworks (KS-24-010527). Upon arrival, the area was checked, and there were no signs of fireworks.

11/26/24, at 7:04 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Marshall Street for a report of fireworks or gunshots heard the night before. (KS-24-010540). Officers advised the reporting party to call 911 immediately if they heard the noise again.

11/26/24, at 10:11 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of S. Walnut Street for a parking complaint involving two vehicles parked between the no parking signs (KS-24-010567). Both vehicles were issued parking tickets.

11/27/24, at 9:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of N. Lincoln Street for an erratic driver (KS-24-010590). The reporting party advised that a dirt bike with Christmas lights was driving on the road. Upon arrival, the bike was not located in the area.

11/27/24, a patrol detail was created due to a concern about disregarding the crosswalk at S. Union Street and Mulberry Street that was brought to light at November’s public safety meeting. (KS-24-010568). Patrols will be conducted in this area for two weeks beginning 12/2/24.

11/28/24, at 12:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to KSPD for a report of someone wanting to pay a parking ticket (KS-24-0100599). No one was on location at the new or old police stations.

11/29/24, at 1:27 PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 400 Block of E. State Street for a speeding violation involving a vehicle traveling 43 MPH in a marked 25 MPH zone (KS-24-010616). The vehicle's driver was taken into custody for an arrest warrant out of the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and transported to Chester County Prison.

11/30/24, at 11:30 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. State Street for a suspicious person in a parking lot. (KS-24-010648). Officers contacted the described male subject, who was helping build a set for a play. He was not engaged in any suspicious activity.

11/30/24, at 9:04 PM, Officers received a phone report regarding hitting a vehicle at approximately 7:00 PM near the intersection of W. Linden and N. Broad Street. (KS-24-010657). The reporting party advised there was heavy traffic at the time, so they could not stop. No damage was observed to their vehicle or the vehicle they hit.

11/30/24, at 11:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Union Street for a report of a domestic disturbance (KS-24-010665). Officers provided courtesy transport to a nearby hotel for one of the subjects involved.
