11/17/24, at 12:58 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Juniper Street for a group of juveniles being loud and possibly looking into vehicles. (KS-24-010277). The area was checked with negative results for the juveniles, and no vehicles appeared to be tampered with.
11/17/24, at 6:59 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Lafayette Street for a parking complaint of a vehicle blocking the caller’s driveway. (KS-24-010292). Upon arrival, the car was no longer on location.
11/17/24, at 7:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a domestic disturbance. (KS-24-010290). One subject was taken into custody for terroristic threats.
11/18/24, at 7:53 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of E. South Street for a parking complaint of a vehicle parked in the reporting party’s driveway. (KS-24-010301). A parking ticket was issued, and the SRO was notified to have the students move their vehicle.
11/18/24, at 12:30 PM, Officers were dispatched for a physical altercation between two male juveniles. (KS-24-010317). Two Non-Traffic Citations were issued for Disorderly Conduct.
11/18/24, at 3:07 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. State Street for a theft report. (KS-24-010325). This incident is pending further investigation.
11/19/24, at 9:54 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a domestic disturbance, not in progress. (KS-24-010339). The reporting party advised police he only wanted the incident documented.
11/19/24, at 3:15 PM, Officers were dispatched for an identity theft report of someone creating a fake business account on WhatsApp and charging individuals to receive a social security number and immigration paperwork (KS-24-010347).
11/20/24, at 1:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment of a solicitor going door to door in the 200 Block of Ridge Avenue. (KS-24-010368). Contact was made with the solicitors, who were advised they could not solicit in the Borough.
11/20/24, at 1:17 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. State Street for a traffic hazard caused by road work. (KS-24-010370). Northbound traffic on S. Mill and D Street was backed up but flowing with the light. Traffic was monitored until the flow of traffic decreased.
11/20/24, at 1:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of N. Union Street for a trailer in the roadway. (KS-24-010371). Once on location, the trailer was a landscaping trailer with cones blocking it from the roadway. The sign posted to advise of upcoming road work had fallen over and was placed back up again by the company.
11/21/24 at 12:39 AM, Officers were dispatched for a lost dog being dropped off at the station by the reporting party (KS-24-010380). By scanning the dog's chip, officers were able to obtain the owner’s address and return the dog.
11/22/24, at 8:50 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report regarding a vehicle passing a school bus with its red lights and stop sign activated. (KS-24-010423). Officers contacted the vehicle owner, who declined to identify who had the vehicle on the day in question but advised he would address the issue.
11/22/24, at 8:59 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of S. Broad Street for a possible stolen vehicle (KS-24-010426). Upon further investigation, it was learned that the vehicle had been repossessed.
11/22/24, at 11:21 AM, Officers were dispatched for a criminal mischief report involving damaged fire extinguishers in the parking garage. (KS-24-010429). This incident is pending the review of surveillance footage.
11/23/24, at 9:13 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Worrall Avenue for a parking complaint of a vehicle with heavy damage to the front driver's side of the vehicle. (KS-24-010444). A parking ticket was issued.
11/23/24, at 6:52 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of S. Walnut Street and Birch Street. (KS-24-010461). Subsequently, the vehicle was towed from the stop because it did not have valid insurance or registration.
11/23/24, at 11:08 PM, while on patrol in the 100 Block of E. State Street, Officers were flagged down by a stranded driver whose car battery died. (KS-24-010465). Officers used their jump pack, and the vehicle started without incident.
11/17/24, at 2:27 PM, a Non-Reportable Accident occurred on W. Cypress Street. (KS-24-010286).
