Carolina Carrera-Pelaez, age 42, of Toughkenamon, PA, was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses after Officers were dispatched for a property damage accident involving a vehicle striking a residence. The incident occurred on August 20, 2022 at approximately 6:02PM, in the 300 Block of West South Street, Kennett Square Borough. Upon making contact with Carrera-Pelaez, Officers observed indicators suggesting intoxication and field sobriety tests showed impairment. She was processed and later released at her residence pending issuance of a summons. Charges were filed at District Court 15-3-04. The case is pending a preliminary hearing.
