Public Notice:

Veterans Field, located 400 Street Road will be closed from 7AM on Saturday, October 11 through 5PM Sunday, October 12 for a police related K-9 event. Upper Southampton Township will be hosting the Police Dog 1 (PD1) certification for the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA). The PD 1 certification is a standard for patrol and dual-purpose police dogs demonstrating skills in obedience, agility, article search, and apprehension. Sixteen (16) K-9 teams from multiple police departments will be participating in the event, including Upper Southampton PD K-9 Ronin and his handler, Officer Ungurean. The public is welcome to attend the event but must remain outside the fence surrounding the field area at all times. Domestic animals such as dogs will be prohibited from accessing event area and we ask that the public refrain from walking their pets in Veterans Field during the event hours.
