Newtown, PA - Members of the Newtown Township Police Department are currently assisting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with an investigation within the township.

Residents may notice an increased law enforcement presence in the area of Stoopville Road & Clymer Street while this investigation is ongoing.

We ask that the public avoid the area if possible to allow investigators to conduct their work safely and efficiently.

At this time, there is no active threat to our community.
