The Newtown Township Police Department has a Highway Patrol Motorcycle Unit that consists of six trained officers and four Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  In addition to motor vehicle enforcement operations, the members of this unit provide assistance to many other agencies for dignitary visits and escorts, funeral escorts, parades, conventions, and public exhibitions.

Our motorcycle unit is proud to annually coordinate the logistics for the motorcycle ride portion of the Travis Manion Foundation Bucks County Ride for the Herores.

We had the honor of assisting with the Philadelphia Eagles' 2024 Super Bowl Victory Parade that took place on February 14, 2025, where our Highway Patrol Officers also hoisted the Lombardi Trophy!
