Newtown Township Public Works Department John Ehlmann Retirement
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA - A message from Chief Hearn on behalf of the Newtown Township Police Department.
Please join me in recognizing John Ehlmann on his retirement from the Department of Public Works, Newtown Township, after nearly 26 years of dedicated and faithful service.
John Ehlmann began his career with Newtown Township on August 14, 2000, as a maintenance mechanic and will be officially retiring on Friday, May 29, 2026. As a member of Newtown’s Department of Public Works, John handled many facets of improving the quality of life in Newtown Township, including maintaining our complex facility and parks and recreation areas, repairing our fleet of vehicles, , fixing road imperfections, and plowing snow during the various storm events. John’s service to the Township and the community, his hard work, commitment, and contributions have made a lasting impact on this community and our Police Department.
On behalf of the Newtown Township Police Department, we thank John for his many years of service and wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter of life. May your retirement be filled with happiness, relaxation, good health, and many new adventures!
