Newtown Township, PA - Faces of the Newtown Township Police Department, Community Connection Spotlight 🚔 

Officer Brandon Turpyn joined the Newtown Township Police Department in November 2017. 

He is a member of the Bike Patrol Unit and the Accident Reconstruction Unit, one of our T.E.A.M. Instructors (Teaching, Educating, and Mentoring School Liaison Program), our Evidence Custodian, and our social media and tech guru. 

Officer Brandon Turpyn has received letters of commendation for administering NARCAN and CPR and for his extraordinary efforts with Grants. In 2019, Brandon also received a Commendation of Merit for his exceptional actions while responding to and investigating a burglary at a construction site, which led to an arrest.

When he is off duty, Brandon likes being active, whether it's doing outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, landscaping) or indoor house projects. When he’s not working on a project, he enjoys spending time with family and gaming. 

His favorite movie is "Air Force One," released in 1997.
