Officer Lauren Mistic grew up in the area and joined the Newtown Township Police Department in March of 2021.
She is a member of the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team (MIRT), a specialized unit of highly trained officers who respond to other parts of the county when a need arises for increased manpower due to large gatherings or area emergencies such as flood or storm events.
In 2022, Lauren received two Letters of Commendation for administering Narcan to those in need.
In 2023, Lauren received a Letter of Commendation for her exemplary investigation and subsequent arrest of a subject charged with terroristic threats and fleeing from police.
In 2024, Lauren received a Letter of Commendation for her quick thinking and courageous intervention on a highway that saved a child with special needs.
When she is off duty, Lauren loves skiing, baking sourdough bread, cooking, and tackling home projects.
