Newtown Township, PA - Faces of the Newtown Township Police Department, Community Connection Spotlight  

Officer Justin Abbonizio joined the Newtown Township Police Department in January 2023.

He is a patrol officer who you may see out and about during the day, and he is an internal instructor for our department in control and defense tactics and use of force.

Officer Abbonizio received letters of commendation for the successful evacuation of residents from a rapidly spreading dwelling fire on December 10, 2024, and for his commendable response to a vehicle entrapment incident on December 19, 2024.

In his free time, Justin likes spending time with friends, family, and his dog. He enjoys being outside, whether that is being active, relaxing on the beach, or out on a boat.
