Officer Robert Gergal joined the Newtown Township Police Department in September 2023.
He is a member of the Bucks County South Central Emergency Response Team (SERT) and a Field Training Officer, mentoring newly hired officers.
In 2025, Robert received a Letter of Commendation for assisting the Lower Makefield Township Police Department in apprehending two suspicious subjects who fled on foot from a Lower Makefield Officer.
When he is off duty, he enjoys going to the gym, country concerts, and Philly Sport Events, and is currently training for a HYROX competition.
