Newtown Township, Pa - On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Newtown Township Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Leedom Way in the Newtown Crossing/Liberty Square Development for an attempted motor vehicle theft. A residential security camera captured what appears to be five young adult males dressed in all dark clothing, dark coats, and face masks with their hoods pulled up entering several unlocked vehicles. They eventually try to steal a Hyundai Tucson but were unsuccessful.
