Taylorsville Road/Woodside Road Intersection in Pennsylvania Scheduled for Completion Wednesday, July 7 Final Road Configurations Will Include New Traffic Signals, Auxilary Lane for Taylorsville Road Mergers
Motorists could encountered brief stoppages and temporary traffic stoppages at the intersection of Taylorsville and Woodside roads in Lower Makefield, N.J. during daytime hours on Wednesday, July 7.
Work crews are scheduled — weather permitting — to put the busy intersection into its final configuration as part of the Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project. The work will include new pavement markings for Taylorsville Road and the activation of permanent traffic signals to guide turns and through-movements at the intersection a short distance north of the I-295/Taylorsville Road interchange (Exit 10 – New Hope/Yardley).
The re-configured intersection is expected to be completed by the end of day, including a new 500-foot-long auxilary lane for Taylorsville Road traffic north of the intersection and two left-turn-only lanes for traffic turning off Taylorsville Road northbound onto Woodside Road westbound.
Final paving and line painting at the intersection is scheduled to take place in the fall as part of third and final stage of work on the nearly 5-year Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project.
