On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Lower Makefield Township Police were dispatched to the area of East Ferry Road and the Delaware Canal for the report of a deceased individual in a vehicle. Arriving officers located a vehicle, parked at that location, with a deceased subject inside.

As a result of this incident, the Lower Makefield Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office are assisting the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and the City of Trenton Police Department with an on-going investigation which originated in Trenton, NJ.

There is no ongoing concern for community safety.
