The Alpha Win Triathlon takes place in Saugerties this Sunday, Sept. 13, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the race area and seek alternate routes by using Glasco Turnpike and Kings Highway.

What to expect:

• Delays & Closures: Expect traffic delays in the Village and Malden.
• Route 9W: Single-lane traffic between East Bridge Street and Montgomery Street.
• Town Roads: Brief, temporary traffic holds to protect runners and cyclists.
• Village Roads: Several roadways will experience slow traffic with temporary stoppages for cyclists and runners. Affected streets include East Bridge Street, Main Street (east of Washington), Market Street, Mill Street, Montgomery Street, Partition Street, South Partition Street, Washington Avenue, and West Bridge Street.
• Parking: Pay attention to temporary "No Parking" zones throughout the area.
