The Saugerties Police Department would like to remind everyone  to have a safe, positive, and memorable Super Bowl experience today.  If you plan to party, please remember that Fans and Friends don't let Fans and Friends Drive Under the Influence. Ulster County has a Social Host Law, which means if you have a Super Bowl party at your home and someone overindulges, leaves your party and is involved in a DWI / DWAI-Drug related crash, and causes injury to another person, You, the sponsor of the party will be both Criminally and Civilly liable. If you choose to drive under the influence of drugs and or alcohol, and are stopped by law enforcement, you will be arrested.  Please, Let’s make this year a Positive Super Bowl experience for all the right reasons and not one that is remembered because of a tragic event that you could have prevented.
