The anticipated heavy rains predicted to hit our area yesterday through today arrived as scheduled, causing flooding conditions in some areas of the Town and Village of Saugerties. The photos show the worst hit area, that being Light House Drive in the Village. Both Town, and Village DPW crews have been out all day working to remove downed trees and address backed up storm drains.
