A motorist brought an injured owl to the Saugerties Police Station after accidentally hitting it with their vehicle. The police department contacted Ravensbeard Wildlife Center, a local wildlife rehabilitation group, which sent representatives to collect the owl. Fortunately, the Barred Owl is recovering well, and the police department extends its gratitude to Ravensbeard for their assistance.

Once the owl has fully recovered and can be safely reintroduced into its natural habitat, it will be released back into the wild.
