On April 6, 2026, at approximately 1:40 p.m., the Saugerties Police Department arrested Ezra S. Jackson-Dennin, age 28, of Kingston, NY, following an investigation into a reported dispute. As a result of the investigation, Jackson-Dennin was arrested for the felonies of Aggravated Family Offense and Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree.
Jackson-Dennin, who resisted arrest and further processing, was also charged with the felony of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, as well as the following misdemeanors:
- Resisting Arrest
- Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd Degree
- Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree
Jackson-Dennin was arraigned in the Village of Saugerties Justice Court and is being held at the Ulster County Jail without bail. The Saugerties Police Department was assisted at the scene by the New York State Police.
