On September 21, 2026, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Saugerties Police Department arrested Christian T. Fischer, age 32, of Saugerties, NY.  Fischer was charged with the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated, as well as for refusing to submit to a chemical test following a one-car motor vehicle collision on Kings Highway.  Fischer was issued a uniform traffic ticket to appear in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
