On March 17, 2026, Chief Catholdi honored Sergeant Stephen Hunt for his 25 years of service to the Brighton community. Throughout his tenure at the Brighton Police Department, Sergeant Hunt has held various roles, including Police Officer, Task Force Officer with the Great Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team, Training Unit member, Field Training Officer, Investigator, and founding member of the Drone Unit. Currently, he leads the afternoon shift as a Sergeant. Sergeant Hunt's unwavering devotion to the Brighton Police Department and the community is unparalleled, and we anticipate many more years of dedicated service from him.
