The police blotter, a daily record of incidents and arrests maintained by law enforcement, has long served as a snapshot of community life. Attached are photos taken from the October 26, 1950, issue of The Brighton-Pittsford Post. The column titled "Brighton Police Gazette" describes incidents occurring in the Town of Brighton at that time. We can see how society, crime, and policing have evolved over time, but also how some things never change.
