Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) Program - Dunbarton
Law Enforcement Against Drugs ("LEAD") is coming back for a 4th year in a row! We are excited to announce that the entire 6th grade class at the Dunbarton Elementary School ("DES") will be going through LEAD's 10-lesson "Too Good for Drugs" program starting in October. To date, over 100 students have graduated the program with our LEAD Instructor, Chief Remillard.
The goal of "Too Good for Drugs" is to build children's social-emotional skills and empower them to be strong learners, make healthy choices, and be more resistant to peer pressure and peer influence. Children who learn and use the skills taught in this program are more likely to have a positive attitude, make good decisions, get along with their peers, and do better in school. Many thanks to the Dunbarton Elementary School and the Dunbarton Elementary PTO for supporting the LEAD program!
