In 2018, 26-year-old Trish Haynes was reported missing after last being seen in the Grafton/Danbury area. Trish had been living in Grafton before her disappearance. In September 2018, investigators recovered human remains from a container located in Grant’s Pond in Grafton. The remains were later identified as Trish Haynes. Grant’s Pond is in the eastern part of Grafton, New Hampshire, near the Danbury town line and the areas known as Fords Crossing/Fords Mill. It is located off Wild Meadow Road.

In July 2019, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office confirmed that Trish’s death was the result of a homicide. Her murder remains unsolved, and investigators continue to seek information from anyone who may have knowledge about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and death.
