On Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at approximately 7 PM, the Dunbarton Police Department responded to a residence to take a report of a phishing/courier scam in which the victim handed over more than $20,000 in cash after the suspect arrived at the victim's residence. The contact initially started as a PayPal phishing e-mail, indicating that the victim owed money to rectify an account issue. The suspect vehicle, believed to be a newer model white SUV/Crossover Acura, was seen on a nearby surveillance camera leaving the area at approximately 6 PM. The operator of the vehicle was described as an Asian female. This case remains under active investigation.
