Important Community Notice: Training Exercise at Heritage and Graves School

Dear Summit Residents,

The Summit Police Department, Fire Department, and School District 104 will be conducting a joint training exercise at Heritage and Graves School, located in the 5900 block of 74th Avenue. This exercise is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 12, 2026. The training will take place between 0:800 am to Noon.

During this training event, some roads adjacent to the school may be temporarily closed. You may also notice a visible presence of police officers, fire personnel, and emergency services in the area.

Please be assured that this is a routine training exercise and not a response to any actual emergency. We want to reassure the community that there is no cause for alarm.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work together to ensure the safety and preparedness of our first responders. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

The Summit Police Department
