This weekend, Parque De Vida will be bustling with activity as Oktoberfest Cortez kicks off and the Cortez Police Department hosts the Children's Bike Safety Rodeo at the Farmers Market on Mildred & Empire.  Thanks to the generous sponsors, we will also be giving away bicycle helmets for elementary age children (while supplies last) and challenging children to ride their bicycles through the safety course. 

Please drive slowly, stay alert, and watch for families, children, bicyclists, and market-goers crossing nearby streets. Let’s keep our community safe while we celebrate!
