Trinadie apologized to the victim, Josilyn Mark, and her family and admitted that he did make the decision to take an assault rifle into a vehicle that led to her critical injuries, but was not the one who pulled the trigger.
Update:
The sentencing hearing was continued to November 7 at 9:30 am to allow time for all of the conditions of the plea agreement to be completed.
Trinadie Lopez's sentencing hearing is set for this morning at 10 am in Montezuma County Combined Courts - Room 2.
Lopez was originally arrested for Murder in the First-degree and First Degree Assault in case 23CR0204 stemming from the shooting on Empire and North Market on 9/15/23. An 18-year-old female victim sustained life-threatening injuries and has since recovered.
