The LBPD patrol function has filed a summary non-traffic citation alleging the crime of Disorderly Conduct, and a summary traffic citation alleging the traffic offense of Traffic-control signals, against Benjamin C. CHELLQUIST (age 27), of Reading.

On 06/03/2019 at 2:16 AM, an LBPD patrol officer stopped the vehicle CHELLQUIST was driving after he failed to stop for a red traffic light at the intersection of South Broad Street / Sixth Street.  During the course of the traffic stop it was discovered that CHELLQUIST was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  CHELLQUIST was released from the stop and has been summoned to respond to District Court.

CHELLQUIST is presumed innocent.
