The Fairview Township Police Department arrested 39-year old Michael J. O'Neill of Lewisberry Road, Lewisberry after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lewisberry and Steigerwalt Hollow Roads.  O'Neill said he accidentally ran the stop sign at the intersection and struck another vehicle.  Also in the vehicle was O'Neill's juvenile son.  While officers were speaking to O'Neill they could smell a very strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breathe.  Police administered field sobriety testing to him during which he showed obvious signs of intoxication. 

O'Neill was arrested for DUI and was transported to UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital in York for a blood test and then to York County Central Booking for arrest processing and arraignment.  The blood test showed that he had a BAC of .164%.
