On 6/4/18 at 1139 hours, officers responded to the Susan’s Hallmark store located at 468 Second Street Pike on the report of a retail theft in progress.  Officers arrived on-scene and upon speaking to store employees, discovered that Lucia Johnson had attempted to steal several items valued at over $58.00 by placing them in her backpack.  Johnson was taken into custody, processed and then released with charges being filed by summons.
